EXTENDED TOURS INCLUDING THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS
Extended tours usually last from between 2 - 7 days (but can be longer). An itinerary is developed to suit you but can include many of the above places noted in the one day tours and can include visits to both the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland as well as to one or more of Scotland's beautiful islands including Orkney; Skye; Lewis & Harris; Mull; and Islay.
On the mainland these tours can include visits to Culloden where the Jacobite forces of Bonnie Prince Charlie were defeated in 1746; Inverness - the capital of the Highlands; The Great Glen which includes the magnificient Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness; the picturesque port town of Oban; and Kilmartin Glen with its mystical prehistoric monuments.
To the south west of Scotland we also have seaside towns which fringe the River Clyde and then on down to Alloway - home of Robert Burns, regarded as Scotland's greatest poet.
For private tours a suitable car will be hired based on the needs and preferences of the clients.
