PERTHSHIRE DAY TOUR

Visits can include trips to Scone Palace - home to the Earls of Mansfield and whose stately home is open to visitors. It is also where the ancient Stone of Destiny was once located from upon which the Kings of Scotland were coronated. Now located in Edinburgh Castle it is still used for the coronation of future Kings and Queens.

Not to be missed is a visit to the pretty town of Dunkeld where you can hear about the Battle of Dunkeld which took place in 1689, see the stunning Abbey; and wander around the historic streets and visit its independent shops. 

Further north you will find Pitlochry with its two whisky distilleries and the opportunity to do some whisky tasting!
